ScanSnap S1500 now faster, simpler and easier than ever before and equipped with ultrasound multi-feed detection for the first time in a scanner in this market segment, ensuring that the front and back images originate from the same sheet scanned. At a speed of 20 A4 sheets per minute in 200 dpi resolution ScanSnap S1500 scans both sides of the document from the feeder holding 50 sheets. Maximum resolution is 600 dpi in colour or 1200 dpi in monochrome. Additional automatic functions like deskew, page rotation, colour detection, size detection and blank page detection ensures good result and minimum file sizes with a minimum of efforts.

ScanSnap S1500 reduces the document piles on your desk and organizes the files created at a price you can afford. Scan the documents, create searchable PDF files using Adobe Acrobat, and organize them in ScanSnap Organizer. With the Quick Menu the scanned documents may be converted using ABBYY FineReader OCR to a Word document, an Excel file, or a PowerPoint presentation alternatively directly moved into a folder, an email, or printed out with the touch of a button.

Scan and organize your business cards using CardMinder, extracting the essential information for fast retrieval and also exports it to the address books in MS Outlook or Outlook Express, and other data bases for future references.
